December is here. That means it's candy cane season! Those red and white bundles of delicious peppermint signal the beginning of the holidays. I can't resist the hypnotic red and white swirls of minty goodness. I LOVE peppermint. I can't get enough of it. Peppermint bark, peppermint kisses, dipped in hot cocoa, peppermint pie, peppermint marshmallows, peppermint ice cream, or just eaten the old fashioned way. So make a fire, pull up a cup of cocoa, a good book, and join us in the holiday spirit

Did you know that vegetables are good? This coming from a vegetarian who really does'nt like them. That leaves carbs and cheese, and that's not okay. You can't get very far in Weight Watchers on that. So I have decided to made friends with zucchini, mushrooms, spaghetti squash, bell peppers, asparagus, and whole wheat pasta. Guess what? I like them. Next week I will attempt spinach. Spinach soup, spinach fritatta, spinach puffs...I am collecting the recipes as we speak.
